WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT RITZWELL'S MT TABLE DESIGNED BY SHINSAKU MIYAMOTO HAS RECEIVED ONE OF THE 2021 ARCHIPRODUCTS DESIGN AWARDS.
Now at its sixth edition, the award identifies the products that best represent the culture of contemporary design thanks to the continuous research carried out by the portal Archiproducts, which is a renowned point of reference for the work of designers.
The international jury assessed more than 750 projects, among functional and innovative furnishings, lights, finishes, construction systems, and the latest technological proposals for the home. Jurors included designers like Michael Anastassiades, Alain Gilles, Diego Grandi and Piero Lissoni, architectural firms - Harry Nuriev of Crosby Studios, NOA* Network of Architecture, Norm Architects, Quincoces-Dragò, Storagemilano – and leading personalities in the world of design, such as design historian Domitilla Dardi, curator of the studio-museum Achille Castiglioni Giovanna Castiglioni, and photographer Beppe Brancato. Winners of the contest distinguished themselves in the 2021 production in terms of originality, innovation, and experimentation.
The MT TABLE introduces a new example of refined elegance in Ritzwell’s collections, thanks to its perfect balance between two elements which are only apparently contrasting: the wide top in solid wood and the thin metal legs. The warmth of the wooden element dialogues with the lightness of the structure creating a delicate harmony. The essential nature of its shapes makes it a perfect match for both traditional and contemporary chairs. Like the other elements already in the catalogue, the MT TABLE is distinguished by the top’s slightly rounded and extremely smooth profile, which is pleasant to the touch and elegant in its appearance. Available in a large range of sizes and finishes, the table can be personalized in different colours for the structure and for the wooden surface.
